New DIGI'S from Shirleys2Girls

Well it's Sunday and I've been frantically trying to catch up with my stamping projects. Since my child is the 4-legged kind, we don't really celebrate Fathers Day at my house but we are heading over to my sisters later today for a bbq to wish my Dad a Happy Dads Day!

I just got this new digi image from Shirleys2Girls for 4th of July and boy oh boy is she just too cute! I used her for this weeks Wednesday Card Sketch over at SCS. Hope you like her. Here's my card recipe for her:

OMG...The week is just flying by. It's been a hectic but a fun week! At least no bad weather again! LOL!

Happy Sunday everyone!

Well it's Sunday evening and back to work I go tomorrow. Uggggg...there is never enough time in the weekend to play! LOL!

I just love this cute Riley Man. My dad relaxes in his hammock just like Riley does so I thought this would be an awesome card for him for Fathers Day!

The sketch is from Belli Challenge #67 over at the Creative Belli Blog. My card was created using all SU papers except for the DP. I cut out Riley and the tops of the Palm Trees to add some dimension to my card. It was colored with my copics and I just love how it came out and hope you do to.

Ok we had quite the scare last night. Tornado warnings and 80 mile an hour winds! I'm such a scaredy-cat when it comes to weather. My husband was calmly sitting on the couch watching TV and the weather while my beloved daring daughter dog and I were sitting in the panty waiting for the weather to pass. Just checking in...

Well it's Tuesday and I've been working frantically on several different projects. I decided today that my full time job is really getting in the way of my card making! LOL! I wanted to do a quick post and give a shout out to the Dallas SCS Shoebox Swap gals! We had the best time and can't wait to do it again. Here's the entire group...

Here is my totally twisted card this week. I used a brand spankin' new stamp from Shirley's2Girls called Happy Birthday Dog (SG 614). Isn't he just the BOMB! My paper piercing is on the balloons, cloud, sign and around his little tummy! He's outlined with my Copic C-1 marker.
