Creative Cuts & More Autumn Blog Hop

Ready for some fun over at Creative Cuts & More! They are having their Autumn Blog Hop and Guess What??? I was asked to participate. I am so excited to share 3 great projects with you.

So let's get started. If you arrived here from my fabulous friend Holly's blog, then you are in the right place. Didn't you just LOVE Holly's projects. If you didn't get here from Holly's blog, then head over to to  the Creative Cuts and More Blog where all of the fun begins! We don't want you to miss a thing! 

I have 3 projects to share with you today.

The first project I'm going to share would make a wonderful table decoration or gift. It's a die cut Santa's Sleigh 3-D. You can find it here. Mine is in red but is available in many colors. I stamped small snowflakes over the sleigh using a versamark stamp and added a bit of glitter to the center of each snowflake. I used an image from Shirleys2Girls called Christmas Jollies. I just love this little Reindeer! I colored him in using copics and added a small wood peg painted red for his nose and used a glitter pen to glitz up his antlers. No way Santa is going to get lost with him around! Used a sizzix tag die to make the tag.

Ready for Project #2? I used a cute little box called Topper Box. You can find it HERE. My topper box is in red (comes in many different colors) and stamped with versamark using a snowflake stamp. I used another fabulous stamp from Shirleys2Girls. Isn't he too cute??? I love this little guy and he's so easy to color. I used my copics to give him some color and added some fluff to his hat with liquid applique. The ovals are from nestabilities and the snowflake border was created using the aspen snowflake punch from Martha Stewart. Who wouldn't want to get a gift in this cute little thing???

Project #2

Ok now for the last of my projects. #3. This is a cute pop up card. I've always wanted to do these but could never get the pop up thingie to work right. Well you don't have to worry about that anymore. Creative Cuts and More sells them already done. Easy Peasy is what I say. You can find the pop up insert HERE and you can get them in any color you want. Mine is white inserted into a real red card base. The front of my card was stamped with a little tree. The circles were embossed with starburst embossing powdered and cut out. I then used my martha stewart aspen snowflake and used the negative to place onto of my sparkly circle. I added a bit more sparkle with a rhinestone in the center because I love glitzy stuff! LOL! Ok, are you ready to see the inside????

That is the best part. I used a cute snowman (cause I LOVE snowmen) from stampabilities. I embossed the insert using my snowflake embossing folder. Makes my cutie snowman look like he's at home in the snow. He stands straight up when you open it. Fun and easy to make.

Here are my projects for the hop....my first project is this really really cute doggie bag! I just love how this came out. Thanks to Alex for sharing this awesome template. I used a new digi from shirleys2girls called PARIS.

My second project is a cute little composition book. I recovered it using some cute polka dot DP. I used a new digi from shirleys2girls called Best Furry Friend. I really love how this came out. What a great gift for a that special friend in your life.

End of August Twisted Thursday!

Can you believe it's the end of August already??? Kids are back in school and the weather is a bit cooler! YEAH!

It's time for another Twisted Thursday over at the  S2G Challenge blog .

The TWIST this week is to use alphabets on your card/project. 

This week I'm using a new digi called Boy Thank You.  For my base card I used Neenah Classic Solar White with some real red, certainly celery and bashful blue. This week I followed the sketch from my friend Jen's Blog a SFYTT.  I just love this little boy and what teacher wouldn't love to receive this card!

The DP that I used is from Shirleys2Girls. Doesn't it match perfectly? I used the bubbles embossing folder for my background. I hope that you enjoy my project this week.

TNT - Totally Nutty Twist Week over at Shirleys2Girls!

I used some of my cosmo fine glitter on her mermaid fin and cut out the mer-cat and popped him up. I also made a cute little coaster box. I forgot how much fun these are to make! Summer Time over at S2G Twisted Thursday #63

JULY is SUMMERTIME FUN!

We hope that you all enjoyed the Babies and Brides Theme from June...Well we're onto a new month with a Brand Spankin' New Theme...SUMMERTIME FUN! For the month of July over at Shirleys2Girls, we're going to be celebrating summertime fun! Each twist this month will be geared around something that is SUMMERTIME FUN related! This is gonna be a HOT month of FUN!

Ready for the first TWIST of the month??? Your twist this week to play along with us is to.... USE SOMETHING THAT SPARKLES! Can't you just picture your toes dipping into that sparkling blue water! ahhhhh how fabulous would that be!

This week I'm using my sparkles for 4th of July! I found this little awesome All-In-Box over at Splitcoaststampers and made a card to go with it. This little box is the most adorable little thing and is soooo easy to make. I used 2 different images from shirleys2girls Independence Dog and Let Freedom Ring. I used Brilliant Blue, Real Red and Neenah Classic Solar white for my card stock. For my card I followed the fabulous sketch from my friend Jen's Blog a SFYTT. My sparkles are the adorable little rhinestone stars. I used 2 of my embossing folders, Stars and Swiss Dots. My image was colored with copic markers and the dp is from shirleys2girls digi paper selections. I hope that you enjoy my projects this week.

Blushing Brides Week!

Can you believe that Monday was the first day of summer??? I don't know about ya'll but summer here in Texas started a month ago. WOW we've been having 100 degree days and it's just plain HOT! LOL! Well enough of my whining over the hot weather.

Well are you ready to see my creation for the Twisted Thursday Challenge this week? I so enjoyed working on this. When I first saw them, I thought OMG I'll never get this completed, but low and behold I finished one and just LOVE IT! What a FABULOUS gift for that special bride or friend. It's called a Stationery Box. I found the tutorial over at SCS if you want the deets on how to make this.  I used some DP that I had that was hidden away. LOL. I used 2 different images from Shirleys2Girls this week. One on my regular size card called A BRIDES PRESENTS and one for the small 3x3 note card called DOVES. I am just so excited on how this came out that I'll be making more of these for gifts. Below are my pics...

Are you ready to see my card??? I used a fun layout called an EASEL CARD. I just love these type cards. They are so easy and fun to make. My card is measured at 4 1/4 x 8 1/2. It's scored at 4 1/4 and at 6 3/8. My card base is neenah classic solar white. I used some DP that I got from hobbylobby and some silver cardstock. The image that I used is called "The Couple" from S2G's digi selections over at shirleys2girls web store. I used my scallop nesties for my border around the image and colored with my copics. THANK YOU to my fab friend Jane for helping me get the right colors with my copics for the grooms tux. I had never blended my grays to make black. I think it came out pretty good for my first try! What do you think? My "old" for the twist this week are the pretty filigree buttons on the base. You can't see them very well but they are pearlish and silverish in color and worked really with my colors. I tied a white organza ribbon around the side. I just love how this came out and hope you enjoyed viewing my project today.

I just love the color PINK!

This week over at shirleys2girls it's TWISTED THURSDAY CHALLENGE time.

For my card this week I used a digi stamp from shirleys2girls called 'Announcement with Heart". What a great way to announce that little special one that has just arrived. I used a diaper fold and attached it to my card.  My card is 5x5 and I used chocolate chip, certainly celery and some DP that I got at hobbylobby. The image was colored with copics and I added some flowers to the front.  I hope that you enjoyed my card this week.

It's official! It's June!

My Hero! My Dad! Twisted Thursday Challenge #58

Goodness I can't believe how the weeks are just flying by. Are you ready for another Twisted Thursday over at Shirleys2Girls. I know I am because they have some NEW masculine images that you are just going to LOVE! OMG! The Girls have out done themselves once again. If you haven't seen them then you need to run not walk over to the store and check them out. What man in your life wouldn't want something special made with these images.

Today is my dad's 67th birthday so I thought that this image and card was perfect for him! Dad, we love you and sending you lots of hugs and kisses!

For my card this week I used a digi stamp from shirleys2girls called 'HUGGABLE DAD'.  I used the sketch from Jen's blog for this weeks SFYTT. I colored my image with copics and used brillant blue and certainly celery as my cardstock colors. Been gone for a while....Thank you for your support!

I want to take a minute to say THANK YOU to everyone for all of their support over the past few months and the many cards that I have received. My dad had been fighting cancer and on May 1st lost his battle with this ugly disease and I will miss him very much. My dad will forever be in my heart! I love you, DAD!

My mom is doing ok and my sister and I are there to support her. She is one strong woman and is the best nurse EVER! She took care of my dad for the entire time he was ill and she is my hero! She is an amazing woman and I want to say that I love you, MOM!

We're all trying to get back to some type of normal life which is really hard. This is the first card that I've made in over a month so I hope that you enjoy it.  It's another Twisted Thursday Challenge over at shirleys2girls and the twist this week is to use your FAVORITE COLOR on your card or project. Sounds pretty easy, huh? so no excuses for not playing along with us this week.

For my card this week I used a digi stamp from shirleys2girls called 'ONCE'. There are several images in this series of Ladies with Attitude and I'm sure that you will love them all. I love this color combination of grey blue/rose pink. I used some cute little flowers that I got at Michaels and then put a paper flower underneath for an accent. I hope that you enjoy my card this week and hope to get back in the swing of things soon.
