Happy Thanksgiving to my readers!

 I want to take this time to wish everyone a safe and wonderful Holiday. I have so much to be thankful for this holiday season!

Shirley's2Girls is taking this weeks Twisted Thursday off to spend with family and friends. So the design team will be posting a holiday card from our Christmas in July release for Shirley's2Girls.

Wanna see mine!?? I used a really fun Tri-Shutter card. You can find the tutorial for this card here. This was such a fun card to put together. My stamp is called Penguin Sledding (SG H23) from the Holiday section over at shirleys2girls. The base of my card is a shimmery red paired with SU baja breeze. I used some white shimmery paper for the snow and tore the edges. I put some glue down along the edges and sprinkled some chunky white sparkley glitter on top. WOW! I love the effect of this. It looks so real! I just wanted to jump right in it! LOL! The snowflake DP is from hobbylobby and the wooden snowflakes are from Michaels. I love the sentiment for this! I added some white and red organza ribbon on the top. Aren't you just ready to go play in the snow???!!!

That being said...they LOVE LOVE LOVE the 'stamping' business, so the option of S2G closing up shop is...NOT an option. With Digital Stamps, they will create new and whimsical 'images"...sell them on line...but have NO, packaging, shipping or invoicing. Also, with digital stamps...they will have more family time...and...YOU...save..money, storage and time.

It's a BELLI Challenge kinda day!

This weeks Belli challenge is to create a card, scrapbook page or project for using CHIPBOARD. The Design Team will be showing off digi images from our fabulous sponsor this week, StretchNBubbles. They have some great digital images for the holidays so you should check them out.

For my card this week I chose a digi called Snowballs 5 cents each. I love this time of year because snowmen are my FAV! So I couldn't pass this little guy up. Our challenge this week was to use chipboard on our card and boy that was a challenge for me. I found these chipboard circles and thought, "hmmmmm how can I use this on my card?" Then the light bulb when off. Don't you just love those moments! LOL! Added to his little snowball bucket a silver cord holding onto my little chipboard circle that says Happy Winter! Bingo and I love how it came out. Don't you?

Paper: neenah classic solar white 80lb, SU DP, Chocolate Chip, Dusty Durango
Ink:HP Printer Ink (6110 All-In-One Printer), bashful blue for the background

A Wreath for Domino!

For my card, I used a NEW RELEASE from Shirley's2Girls called Domino in wreath! He's brand spankin' new and so new that he's not on the S2G site yet but will be soon if you want to purchase him. I'm hoping he'll be up by the weekend!

I used grosgrain ribbon my my card this week. I had some ric rack but couldn't seem to put my hands on it. I added rhinestones on my wreath to give it that holiday glitter! My card is a little different from the sketch but I really love how it came out! Isn't Domino just the cutest with his little gift bag!

For my card, I used a NEW RELEASE from Shirley's2Girls called Pilgrims (SG309). I used some floral wire that I had laying around and put it through my button and then took a pair of pliers and twisted the ends! Cute, huh?!?

Well can you believe that we're in November already?! I love the fall and watching the leaves change colors! No more yard work for awhile too! LOL!

I just LOVE this scarecrow from Shirley's2Girls. I hate to admit this but I've never been on a farm and have never seen a real scarecrow! Hopefully I got the right colors and he was so much fun to color! I also used my new martha stewart fall leaves punch. If you haven't tried the around the page sets yet, they are really cool!
