Welcome to another S2G's Twisted Thursday Challenge!

I hope that you ALL enjoyed our week long blog hop for What's your INDULGENCE? Aren't the images just FABULOUS!

Ready for this weeks challenge?  We've got a great sketch and twist for you this week. To play along all you have to do is follow the sketch and twist and post your card over at Shirley's2Girls Challenge Blog and link to Mr Linky! Easy peasy, right?

Here is your sketch to follow and the twist is to use CHOCOLATE! Chocolate can be wrappers, color or anything that pops into your creative mind! LOL! Sounds yummy and fun!

Ready to see my card. I used two of the new releases from the Indulgence line called #118 Lingerie and #129 Atomizer. I decided to try a new technique with these two images and created a wiper card. You can find the tutorial here. I really like the way this came out and hope you do too. I used some of the scrumptious digi paper from shirleys2girls along with chocolate chip and regal rose card stock. What do you think?

Twisted Thursday #22 - Let's have some fun!!!

Well it's been a long week and I'm so glad that it's time for TWISTED THURSDAY! This is my favorite day of the week. Well Fridays still rate pretty high on the list!!!! LOL!!! So what has everyone been up to this week? Did ya notice my new flashie blinkie that the girls over at shirleys2girls made! Is it just too cool for words???

Well I know you guys wanna get down to business so here's the scoop for this week. For those that have played with us before you know the drill. For those newbies, WE WELCOME YOU and here are the deets. Below is your sketch to follow this week and each week we combine that with a TWIST.

The TWIST this week is to PUNCH IT! Use any punch on your card!

Sounds pretty simple, huh?! Well now I'm going to show off my card for this week and hopefully get you going so that you play along with us! I used a set from shirleys2girls called Wedding Cake (SG152). This is such an elegant set that I thought it needed to be paired with some white shimmery paper with black accents. For my "punch it" twist I used 3 of my nestability dies; scallop rectangle, regular heart and scallop heart. I added some embossing from my embossing folder called Swirls. For my final touch I added some black organza ribbon and lightly colored in the accents on the cake with a pale pink copic marker (so pale it's hard to see in the photo). I also used a glitter pen on the accents of the cake to make it sparkle. You know me I love to make everything sparkle!

Here is your sketch to follow this week!
This week I used another digi stamp from S2G called EXPRESS YOURSELF (dg11). Don't you just LOVE IT! My image is layered with garden green and black and colored with my copics. The DP I used was from Hobbylobby and I don't remember the name but it seem to go perfectly with this image. Don't you think?!? The DP is layered with Mambo Melon and Black. Boy I love the new in colors from SU. The mambo melon is my fav! Iused my swirls cuttlebug folder to emboss the lower left section which I layered with garden green and black. My four brads fit perfectly in the top left corner!

It's Twisted Thursday Time! Yippeee!

Well we're back to our regularly scheduled Twisted Thursday. I hope that everyone loved all the sneak peeks last week!

So are you ready to play this week? Well let's get this Twisted Thursday party started! Yea Baby!

Ready for the TWIST...

Use polka dots!

Here is your sketch to follow. The sketch creation is from our own DT member Joy! Thanks Joy for such an awesome sketch!

I stepped out of my box again and created a 5x5 card for this challenge. I used some polka dot dp that I purchased at Hobbylobby. Matted it with black and one of the new SU in colors called Melon Mambo. It is such a fun fun color. I think this is my new fav color! The card base is SU Certainly Celery. The image is shirleys2girls stamp called Enjoy the View (DG12). The fantastic part is it's a digi stamp. The image is layered with Melon Mambo and Black. I used a rectangle scallop nestie to frame the image. The image is colored with copics and I cut out that cute little birdie and popped him up with a dimensional dot. I love how this turned out and hope you enjoy!

Let it Snow! Let it Snow! Let it Snow!

Are you ready for another really COOL TWISED THURSDAY??? I know I am. Temperatures here in Texas have been in the hundreds and I'm ready for some coooollllll weather!!! LOL!!!

This week the TWIST IS....To make any shape card using any layout that you choose! So ditch that traditional 4 1/4 X 5 1/2 inch size card and lets shovel up some really cool card shapes!

Wanna see mine!?? I used a really fun Tri-Shutter card. You can find the tutorial for this card here. This was such a fun card to put together. My stamp is called Penguin Sledding (SG H23) from the Holiday section over at shirleys2girls. The base of my card is a shimmery red paired with SU baja breeze. I used some white shimmery paper for the snow and tore the edges. I put some glue down along the edges and sprinkled some chunky white sparkley glitter on top. WOW! I love the effect of this. It looks so real! I just wanted to jump right in it! LOL! The snowflake DP is from hobbylobby and the wooden snowflakes are from Michaels. I love the sentiment for this! I added some white and red organza ribbon on the top. Aren't you just ready to go play in the snow???!!!

We Need a Little Holiday/Christmas...NOW!!!

Ok it's hardly the weather to be thinking of that Jolly Fat Man in the RED suit...BUT, it's just too darn HOT outside and all of us at S2G thought ALL OF YOU could use a little something to "COOL" yourselves off...So without further ado let's introduce the S2G Holiday Stamps!

Please join us over the next 3 weeks as our Twisted Thursdays will be all about the Holidays. Each Design Team member is about to get ALL RED, GREEN and JOLLY with all of you! The Design Team will take you on a week by week tour thru the S2G Holiday/Christmas line and share lots and lots of creative projects with you!

Ok, here's the sketch for this week along with the TWIST. The TWIST is to add distressing to your card.

Here's mine as a little inspiration to get you going! I used the S2G stamp called "Not a Creature was Stirring Cat" (SG H9) and some new digi paper from S2G. I distressed the edges of my green layer, the white edges and the red back piece. I love using my distressor! I cut out the star and that cute little can placed them on pop dots to give my card some dimension. I love glitter and sparkle and you can't have the holidays without a little of that so I added some rhinestone stars to add some sparkle and shine! Hope you like it!
