Water Bottle Koozie

Happy Friday Everyone. Boy it's been a long week. I haven't had time to work on my challenges or cards yet this week but wanted to share another item that I make; cute little water bottle koozies! Aren't they just too fun!? My mom and I make these for a local craft fair that we attend each month. They are made from upholstery vinyl (black or white), embroidered with cute sayings on them and to add that extra layer of fun, boa is added to the top. They fit all 16.9 oz water bottles and are so much fun to carry around. If you're interested in a fun and unique gift for someone that LOVES to stamp or for that difficult to buy for person, then this is the perfect item. Email if me for additional details.

Welcome to another challenge. A friend on splitcoaststampers introduced me to shirley's2girls stamps a few weeks ago and I've fallen in love with their stamps. They posted on their blog a new challenge called "Go Green". Well I could not resist so I started putting my creative juices into overdrive. I knew which stamp set that I wanted to use so I started there. I asked my DH what he thought about go green and he mentioned a house so there started my creation. First I went to search for images of brick that would be small enough to make my box look like a portion of house. First time out I found exactly what I was looking for. I pasted all my little bricks together and created an 8.5x11 sheet. Went down to my local kinkos to have it printed since I wanted something of better quality than my own printer would put out. The guy at kinkos looked at me funny and said "this is a funny thing to print". Well I said I'm creating a house out of paper and this is my start. He laughed and I can home with my 6 sheets of brick (5 extra in case I messed up). LOL! I built my house box and then stamped my image. I picked my DP for the chair and paper pieced it and then added flocking to my cute little doggie to make him fluffy. Cut him out and placed him back in the chair using my dimensionals. I then cut the size that I needed for my window opening and cut out my frame. I used my cuttlebug swiss dots embossing folder for the wall and covered it in my garden green ink using a cotton ball. I used a cute dog bone charm to add a picture in the top frame of the window. Now onto the curtains. I used my oval punch and my white gel pen to create the curtains in the window frame. Then I place my chair and dog on the background and used dimensionals to raise my window frame on top of him. I had to double stack it to give it enough room. Outlined my frame with a black sharpie and voila a completed window! Now onto the inside. I love the sentiment that goes with this so I covered the inside with my garden green card stock and used a magnetic snap to close my box. I had so much fun creating this and my DH even added some advice! He's such a good guy! LOL!

Sketch Challenge #209

Happy Valentines Day!

Here is my sketch challenge #209 on SCS. I love this stamp set. It's from H&M Stamps. I used Stampin' Up! paper in Regal Rose, Baja Breeze, So Saffron and Neenah Solar Classic White. The DP is Basic Grey. I used the floral fantasy cuttlebug embossing folder in baja breeze. Lots of layers and silver brads. I paper pieced her dress from the same Basic Grey paper as the background and used my copics to color her and my glitter pen on her wings. Isn't she just adorable?

Mojo Monday #72

I can't believe this is my second post today. Here is my card for the Mojo Monday #72 challenge. I absolutely love these colors together. Perfect Plum, Very Vanilla and Old Olive. I used a Martha Stewart punch called doily lace. The DP is retired from Stampin' Up! but fit very well with this set. The stamp set I used is Serenity from Verve. I really like this set.
Enjoy and Happy Stamping!

Who's that E-Girl?

Here is my MFT challenge (MFTGD15). I just got this set for Christmas and immediately sat down and worked on the image first. The image is colored with my copics and paper pieced. I just love chocolates and pinks together. Once I had the image the way I wanted it, I started to build my card. I also used my new nestabilities dies as well. I hope you like it. This was alot of fun to put together.

Lights Camera ACTION!

Here's my mid-week post. I've finally got this stuff down, I think. LOL! I found this AWESOME person (Dina -http://mamadinis.blogspot.com ) to create my watermark and siggy line...Cute, HUH!?! She did such a wonderful job! I feel so professional now. LOL!

Another great thing this week is that my DH built me this wonderful light box to take pics of my cards for me. OMG - I couldn't have asked for anything better. It's small and compact and it's light enough that I can carry it anywhere in the house and even outdoors! He is the MAN!

Well off to work on my next Mojo Monday challenge.

My First Challenge - Mojo Monday Week 71

Well here I am at the end of the week and I'm just now finishing up my first challenge. I'm very excited to share with you the Mojo Monday Week 71. I loved this layout simple and clean. The stamps that I used are from Shirley's2girls . I have a love and passion for animals (dogs especially) and couldn't resist this little dog with the bone. The sentiment is sooo true. The card is colored in using my new copics which I'm still learning how to use. I love the way that they blend so nicely. I used my nestabilities labels 1 and added some paper piercing around the edge. The paper is Stampin' Up! chocolate chip and so saffron. Enjoy!
